The apartment is exceptional, the host is very caring and didn't forget to add all the details to make the stay the most comfortable, she even pays great attention to details you don't think of or expect.The apartment is spacious, comfortable, well-equipped ,very warm and spotless. The location is excellent with lots of shops,supermarkets and restaurants around.Commuting is also very easy with the bus stop only 50 yards away.

− I can go on forever explaining how kind,caring,thoughtful, generous, and amazing host Elizabeth is and never end. I felt very looked after and taken care of, and I would always be grateful for the help she gave me during my first days in the UK while staying in her apartment.

The inside of the flat was just as described/shown in the pictures, and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the sofa bed too. The shower was great, very powerful . Nice portable air con unit. Everything in the flat was good and there are plenty of shops and restaurants right there for buying food , bread, milk etc.

− The amenities advertised as being on site such as picnic area, swimming pool,vending machines, bowling etc are actually things in the local area, ie the pool is 1.8miles away and is the public pool, so I think the owner misunderstood and put these things down as available in the rental, when in fact they are available within a few miles radius. This wasn't an issue for us as we had travelled just to visit family, but might be disappointing to anyone expecting a pool on site or outside picnic area at the accommodation etc There IS a lovely park just across the road however. Parking is by visitors permit so remind the host to bring you permits for your stay as you can't park for more than 2 hours without them. The flat is located on quite a busy road, and traffic noise might be a problem for light sleepers, as it stays busy till quite late, and starts again around 5am. Even with the double glazing closed it was quite noticeable. I did not sleep well due to this, although it didn't bother my sister, like I said if you're a light sleeper it might be an issue. I thought the flat was part of English Heritage Group (EHG) but I don't think it is, so it's a bit confusing , the use of a big brands initials . The use of the name "lodge" and the mention of pool and picnic area facilities made me believe it was going to be in some sort of grounds, as opposed to a flat on a high street above shops . I think the description needs to be more accurate as i can see these things causing problems for other visitors.
