Location and space.

− House was freezing. Heating did not work in old cold house. Caretaker had also removed the electric blankets from the beds. The fireplace had no suitable wood and is located away from the living areas It was -3.3 degrees overnight. We had to borrow electric blankets from family We contacted the caretaker Andrew who was extremely rude, patronising and useless. We checked out in the morning, one day early because it was too uncomfortable. We want a refund due to our extreme dissatisfaction with the house and especially the caretaker Andrew.

This was a lovely old property which was clean and had comfortable beds. The bathroom was very dated but showers were hot and strong. Everything that you would need for a short or long stay was at hand. The entertainment set up was the best we have ever seen. Heaps of DVD and books.

− Unfortunately the weather in Lithgow this particular night was freezing and we were unable to warm the place up. There was a wood heater in one of the outer rooms but not having used one before was reluctant to light it.
