Monia beach house♡

A beautiful setting with everything we needed.

The location was fabulous. We really enjoyed being so near to the beach and sitting out on the balcony. We had frequent trips to the supermarket (SISA) which was 15 mins walk away. Santa Flavia station was a 25 min walk away. The trains were easy to use, efficient and air conditioned - we went to Palermo and Cefalu, both definitely worth a visit. There is a good restaurant 3 mins walk away. We found Sicily very friendly and many people went out of their way to be friendly and helpful to us, with our limited Italian! Monia was extremely helpful and even came back from a night out when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the flat.

− The two single beds were quite narrow with very firm mattresses. There was air conditioning in the main bedroom, but only fans in the other rooms. However once we’d been there a day or so the flat was nice and cool.

Wonderful location, kind host who went out of her way to help us. But needs to be more accurate about the property.

Great location by beach and walking distance to shops.

− Wasn’t aware that the property was part of a larger house that was split into different residences. Also photos slightly mis leading about how much patio space was available. Also property a bit tired in places.

Skvělé ubytování, přímo u pláže, krásná terasa s posezením. Velmi příjemná majitelka. V blízkosti vynikající pizzerie a restaurace .

Labai graži vieta , ant pačio kranto . Komfortišką nusileisti ir mėgautis pliažu , kuris tikrai yra gražus . Miestelis irgi labai jaukus .

− Lovų čiužiniai yra labai kieti , kaip mediena , tragedija . Prastos pagalvės Kondicionierius tik miegamajam, kitus vėjelis bet labai garsiai pučia atsibundi nuo triukšmo .

Great beach house, beautiful view, wonderful host.

− Parking is a bit challenging, specially if you are with family and a bigger car. Nevertheless, you have the possibility to park on the street for 5 EUR per day.

Het was fantastisch en we hadden best nog wat langer willen blijven.

De locatie was top! Vlak aan het strand. In het weekend wel veel drukker. Zeer hartelijke ontvangst door Monia. We kwamen laat toe en ze had vanalles voorzien voor ontbijt, drank, pasta enz… De dag van ons vertrek mochten we extra lang blijven omdat er die dag geen gasten toekwamen. Wat een leuke extra en we hebben er nog enorm van genoten. Mooi groot terras met veel extra’s voor het strand : luchtmatras, strandparasol enz Meer dan voldoende keukenmateriaal aanwezig (borden, bestek, glazen, kookpotten enz). De inrichting is authentiek en charmant. De communicatie met Monia liep supervlot. Zeer snelle reactie als we een vraag hadden. Een aanrader!

− De parking is een uitdaging, maar doenbaar.
