Great Accommodation for a large group

16 peeps/whole lodge The location/property was great. Well maintained and lovely planting, palms , shrubs and fruit trees...we got to enjoy avocado and star fruit during our stay...but there was also lemons and breadfruit to ripen for the next lot of guests. Having the whole lodge for our group of 16 was perfect. Rooms were spacious, beds comfortable. Hangers in the wardrobe and shelving for clothes and everything else. Bath towels supplied. A cane coffee table and 2 chairs in each of the 9 bedrooms. Overhead fan in each bedroom and a standing fan in most. They were certainly needed as the heat was brutal for us Kiwi. Kitchen is large and was probably the most well stocked of all the accommodations we have stayed in, over the numerous trips we have made in the past years. Two large fridges and a standing freezer were ample for our group of hungry peeps. Heaps of cupboards as well. Water was filtered so we were able to drink the tap water. Four of the bedrooms had an outside shower with hot and cold water which was great. It also helped free up the 3 bathrooms with showers and toilets. There is a small lounge well stocked with books, games and comfy sofas to relax on. There is a laundry...costs $4 per load but powder is supplied. We were happy enough with that. Theres also a drying room...a very very warm drying room...you need to take a shower then go in soaking wet and hang your clothes cause you and clothes dry off fast!! Will be ideal in winter...a sauna in summer...lol. The covered deck was fantastic...one large round table with lazy Susan and two smaller ones and seats galore. Extra small cushioned sofas also on the deck. Deck extended almost length of lodge and was quite wide. The two hammocks outside were well used and the outside shower was the BEST!!! Great to wash off the sand or cool off under...another thing that was well used. Access to the beach was about 100-150mtrs.

− I'm being fussy here...the beach was rocky directly off the stairs from our pathway. Clear water maybe 50mtrs to the left of...Koka and Capt Tama Lagoon Cruises just a bit further along. Ideal would have been a swimming beach outside our gate. Honestly it was so so hot, walking was not something us over 60yr olds wanted to do.

Excellent location. Fantastic Lodge and HUGE! We had a couple of issues with water filter but this was soon seen to by Brendon. Thank you Muri Lodge....we LOVED our stay in Rarotonga and all promising to return!

− Would be awesome with Air Con as very hot at night. That's about it...everything else was super easy and totally perfect for our family of 5. Loved the fact we had the whole Lodge to ourselves...fantastic.

Very easy check in, super clear instructions. The property was super private and fully fenced which was perfect we had a few young kids, close to everything we need. Perfect space for a large family, close but not to close to the beach

− the cost of laundry was $4, was having to ask the shops for nz coins just to do laundry
