Not so good experience with Epiq Residences in Quito

− Problems: - Check in was terrible. We had no information when we got there. The guard had no instructions to check us in and give us the keys. Management company claimed problems with Booking.com. Nevertheless, they were aware of those problems and yet took no intitiave to inform us of reservation instructions prior to arrival. - Refrigerator was broken when we arrived and took 4 days to check and replace. This is clear indication that the apartment was not checked before our arrival. - Listing says “fully equipped kitchen” and shows an oven in the photos. There was no oven. - Listing says “sauna, hot tub, jacuzzi” would be available; both were not operating. They said it was because of the electricity issues. While Ecuador was having electricity issues, all was back to normal when we got there. Everything we went to and visited was operating normally. We were in Ecuador for 16 days and never had electricity issues.I am convinced they did not want to turn it on. - Floor was filthy with layer of dust on arrival. - Finding the parking was very difficult. Instructions should say: - Parking is labeled “KaoSports” and that the reserved spot is 150 on S3. - Trash is located on S1 - If/when cleaning service comes. I will be officially requesting a 50% refund through Booking. com as soon as I figure out how to do it. Note that I have a whole chat with Nomad-In on WhatsApp about all this.
