We had a very nice and pleasant stay, the location is near to center , the rooms are modern and very comfortable, cleanliness at very high levels and the hospitality is remarkable.

The location was good, just opposite the old town. It was clean.

− The good reviews for this place can't have been for the Budget Double Room. I checked the size before I booked, it said 16sqm which seems fine, I've stayed in 11 and 12sqm in Europe. Well, they must have been using the orange man's tape measure, because there's no way this shoebox was 16. Not even close. The only place to open my bag was on the bed. Overall, I could have lasted here 1 night but no way I could spend 3 nights in there, so I paid alot less and stayed somewhere better. Adding to which there were no directions as to how to get in when you arrive at the property - the front of the building is something else. And when I did find the door, there was just noone there at all. When I phoned they said oh well you said when you booked (MONTHS ago) that you'd be arriving 2 hours later than this. God forbid plans change at all in the space of 3 months. It would have been handy to know there would be noone present except at the exact time I specified. I guess I incorrectly assumed this was a hotel, it isn't, just some rooms. Having said all of that - having now visited Ohrid I think the ONLY place to stay for a first timer is up on the hill inside the old town with a lake view. Learn from my mistakes people, you will not regret that.

A beautiful house-hotel, one of the most charming in the downtown Ohrid. The Location is excellent – walking distance to the main square, the port for excursions, restaurants, bars, bakeries – all flat, no need to climb anything. The receptionist staff was vey pleasnant. The room was comfortable, although more on the average side, and with a small balcony. TV programme included Macedonian and some international, including sports channels, although not much of international news channeles. Parking space is excellent, safe and in the yard behind the hotel. Easy to locate and to access the parking. Wi fi worked very well. Free coffee and water at the reception at any time was available

− There is no elevator in the hotel, be aware you have to take up and down your luggage yourself, if that matters. The reception is not manned throughout the day and night. Most often, there is no staff at all. The staff comes only when required for check in, it seems, but they are available to contact by phone applications. The room was somehow small, and I cannot recall any writing desk. To get to the Ancient Amphitheater of Ohrid and other fancy locations, you have to walk up the steep hill. There are taxis available nearby. There was no view from my hotel room, I could see only the wall from the next building. Once I faced trouble to get in to my room by the code.
