10.0I stayed at Blue Maalu Resort with our two sons and had an unforgettable experience. The host was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. He took us to Turtle Beach, where we saw wild sea turtles in their natural habitat for the first time. It was a magical experience, and our children were so happy. We also visited a beautiful nearby beach for snorkeling and swimming, which we absolutely loved. One afternoon, we went on a Madu River boat safari, and it was amazing. We saw so many birds on the island and enjoyed the peaceful beauty of the river. The breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning, and all the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. We were very sad to leave this exceptional place. We highly recommend Blue Maalu Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing, authentic, and memorable stay in Sri Lanka. We can’t wait to come back!

10.0Wonderful sea view room with a mini fridge and hair dryer. The highlight of this place is the outstanding hospitality. I traveled around Sri Lanka for 13 days, and this was my final stay—and it was the perfect way to end my trip. As it is currently the off-season, there are fewer tourists, and the prices are very reasonable. The hosts prepared delicious, healthy rice and curry meals, and they also recommended an excellent local Ayurvedic massage center at affordable local prices. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with warm hospitality and great value for money.

Amazing location, off the beaten track, lovely people.
10.0This is a gem of a place - quiet, ocean-front, incredibly chill and with lovely people running it. They cooked curry and rice in the evening which was lovely and incredible value. Really recommend as an alternative to more expensive and busy Hikkaduwa which is only a couple of bucks away in a tuk-tuk. Lovely clean rooms with fridge and a beautiful view over the ocean.
