London Crystal Palace Visit
1.0The apartment was clean and tidy with limited parking
− Having to wait nearly 3 hours inpouring rain to recieve the passcodes to enter. Despite numerous phone calls to the owner from myself, my wife and booking.com there was no reply. Because Booking.com hadn't recieved a reply they refunded me as per their policy. At around 6pm I finally recieved the codes and simultaniously the owners daughter arrived and let me in. No reasonable reason was given why there was a delay in the passcodes. As I had got events occurring and was soaked to the bone I stayed with the aim of sorting out afterwards. Quite honestly it ruined my weekend.

− The decoration was poor especially the kitchen missing drawer fronts Had problems with the TV as unable to get channels.

− Check in was unacceptable. I arrived at 4pm and had not received any check in details. I contacted the property several times via messaging on booking.com and tried to phone with no response. Waited 25 minutes in the cold before getting a message with the lock box code, just as I was about to leave to find alternative accommodation. Upon entry I found the place not living up to the description of “luxury” as there are several areas where maintenance was being carried out or has not been properly painted.
Comfortable, pleasant stay in quiet and convenient location. Thank you.

− Shower control and soap bar rest were at the other end of the shower. No cloth to wipe kitchen surfaces. Sharp knife, vegetable peeler and another hand wash for the kitchen would be helpful.
