Casa alle fontane♡

A short stay in a lovely old stone village house with an great view of Lake Como from the top floor.

The location of Casa alle fontane is amazing - up a pedestrians-only stone street at the top of the village, it's a classic house on a steep hill with a beautiful view over Lake Como from the top-floor windows and balcony. The house has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus a kitchen and sitting area. Unfortunately we were only there for one short night so could not enjoy the kitchen or relax a little.

− Despite the good communications with the kind owner, it was a little difficult to find the house using the app - we were not sure if it was the one we stayed in or another one across the street. It was around 22:00 and one of the neighbours came out to help us. The other thing is that it was very hot when we were there. The windows and shutters had been closed. We didn't want to open up the shutters because the mosquitos would come in, so it was a hot night. There are ventilation fans in the bedrooms, which help.
