Great rooms and location. Friendly staff.
10.0Perfectly friendly staff who provide an excellent service. I'm happy I didn't stay anywhere else. The rooms are large, modern, clean and have thick walls, so you can't hear the other guests. Also the rooms are in an open patio which softens the noise of people going to their rooms and the doors don't slam. There's no sound of traffic. Truly, you will be guaranteed a good night's sleep. Breakfast is very good too, and the hotel is clean. Bonus: they sometimes have live folk music from 8pm to 11pm. There have been complaints about the sizes of the TVs: they are much bigger than I've ever had in other hotels, and there's so much to see in and around Urfa, that i didn't have the time to switch mine on. The only concern at the moment are those shown on the TV news about missiles coming from the South. As Abraham was born here, done crazy people think Urfa forms part of Greater Zion. I hope it remains Turkish and Kurdish and Arab and Aramaic and Syriac.

7.0Beautiful building large bedroom. Right in location of old town walking distance to all sites. Appreciated the rooms decoration and beautiful old bones. Had a round bed which was a novelty.
− Toilet wasnt clean in room I cleaned it myself when we got there but could see cleaner was flat out so let it go. The toilet lid didn't stay up so trying to use it was challenging as it kept closing on you. WiFi only in reception area. Breakfast is meant to be 830am. First day 850am tables still not cleaned another guest had to ask to have them wiped as food /drink from Day before on it. Next day we had to knock on reception door to be let in at 852am all the kitchen staff were sitting smoking in courtyard one evening breakfast was ready but tables still not cleaned. I understand if the place is busy but it's not peak season, come on lift your game.
despite the friendly staff and nice location, we wouldn’t stay again
5.0The location of Aslan Guesthouse is great — close to Balıklıgöl, restaurants, and shops. The building has beautiful architecture, and our bathroom was large and even had a hammam. Staff were very kind, especially Mr. Ramazan, who was extremely helpful and welcoming.
− There was no fridge in the room, which is a big issue in Urfa’s heat. The Wi-Fi was basically unusable, and even phone signal was weak inside. The shared kitchen and water were only accessible by going outside and through another entrance, which was inconvenient. Our shower water was cold in the mornings, and the toilet flush (siphon) didn’t work properly — it often needed multiple tries and didn’t always flush completely (we didn’t report that though) There was live music (Sıra Gecesi) every night from a place across the street — fun for us, but it might bother light sleepers.
