From the minute we arrived at the cottage we felt at home and relaxed.

10.0The facilities were excellent, spotless clean, appliances are in good state. We loved the coffee machine. We were welcome with a basket of Scottish items, they were lovely. Even doggy treats for our dog. We loved the place indoors and outdoors, very safe and quiet. It included a zip line, a Wendy house, and a play house with slide and swing. It is very near from the beach and from the children play area there is a gorgeous view to the beach. Kate and Angus were excellent. You can go to dinner outdoors, but also you can cook so if you have picky children this is a plus.

10.0Location was perfect. Quiet, secluded. The welcome basket was a lovely surprise (and very tasty). All the information we needed was available in the provided folder. The rooms were spotless. As it was only the two of us, we only used the bedroom on the ground floor. We didn't use upstairs at all (after I bumped my head a couple of times on the first day! :) ) The paths around the estate were well signposted and maintained. Unfortunately we didn't walk them all as we were too busy discovering the surrounding villages and coast which we hadn't been to before.
− The fuel smell from the storage tank just near the side door was something to get used to but didn't spoil anything at all, and we totally understood the need for it. (Initially we thought it was a problem with our car)
