Das Beste am Apartment ist die Terasse und die Aussicht.

− - Keine Infomappe vorhanden. - Mäßige Küchenausstattung. - Total verschimmelter Badezimmerschrank (linke Seite, innen)... man konnte nichts in den Schrank einräumen, weil es so eilig war. - Sehr kleine Dusche, mit Kalk- und Schimmelablagerungen - durchgelegene Matratze - Schimmel an Decke/Wand/Fenster in einem Zimmer - Die Terassenmöbel bräuchten etwas Pflege. Die Metallmöbel sind durch das Klima teilweise verrostet. Die Holzmöbel sollten geölt werden.

− The surrounding houses and buildings in the area needs renovation. A long distance to facitilies like restaurants and beaches. No easy access to the sea.

Made it work but below expectations.

The kitchen was well stocked to cook but the coffee machine was inoperable and tripped the fuse when used. Ended up using the traditional espresso pot old school which I was happy to find. The deck is wonderful and so are the views although a few lounge chairs should be provided. I expect during the summer season the neighborhood has tons of people and activity which may or may not be suitable for those looking for a quiet place. Pre-season it was very quiet.

− Pre-season (May) the surrounding buildings and grounds were littered with garbage and debris and you will notice this a negative feature of the Catania area. To access the facility, have to drive past what anyone in the US would consider "summer slum projects" to get to this facility. The access to the building has gate restrictions and you need keys to everything. Beach access was impossible although the pool was open ahead of schedule. The apartment was very small (the advertised third bedroom was effectively a converted closet), and the living area is pretty much just a kitchen table and 4 chairs. The couch is an afterthought and has no real use. There is no indoor "living space" in the traditional sense. You are either on the deck, in a bedroom or at the kitchen table. In bad weather (which I experienced), it's not ideal at all. The bathroom was clean but if you are more than 200 lbs and 6' tall, the shower will be challenging in that it is VERY small/tight. For US standard loving travelers, this unit will be uncomfortable. I would not recommend for this unit for more than 2 people, or a couple with a young kid.
