9.0The basement suite was very clean, practical and nicely decorated. We stayed with two small kids, and they kindly provided us with a high chair and toys. The information sheet told us not to worry about disturbing the hosts with a crying child, which was a really nice gesture. The suite is in a neighborhood, not very far from a beautiful forest. We stayed for a family event in the same neighborhood, so a perfect location for us. You do need a car to get around.
− We could hear thumping from walking upstairs pretty well. If you are a light or early sleeper, it could be disturbing. The fold out sofa bed wasn't super comfortable (we stayed for 10 days), but that is kind of to be expected.

Ideal base for exploring the Campbell River area.
10.0Good location in Campbell River. Easy to park and access the apartment. Everything is clean and comfortable. Very well equipped. I especially liked the washing machine and dryer as we were half way through our holiday. Cathy was able to book a whale watching trip for us and offered a discounted price.
