9.0I enjoyed my night at Sahan Tourist House, all services were good and the guests were kind and available. I could rent a bike to visit Polannaruwa for a small price. Recommended budget accommodation.

I had a great overnight stay here. Highly recommend this guest house.
10.0The manager was so helpful. He provided a bike for me to cycle around the old city, helped with directions and suggestions of activties to do, and took me to the bus station on my final morning. He made sure I was on the correct bus and that I knew where to hop off. The breakfast was amazing. Plentiful and delicious. The location is so convenient, just a few hundred metres from the ticketing office and a very short bike ride to the city. Lots of great cafes and places to eat close by.

10.0Tolle Zimmer. Sehr sauber. Freundlicher und Hilfsbereiter Host. Sahan hat uns eine Safari Tour und einen Taxi Service organisiert. Wäscheservice und Fahrradverleih gibt es auch. Super Lage um die Tempelanlage zubesuchen.
Good value for money
8.0- Good value for money, with breakfast included and a spacious room. - The possibility of renting a scooter directly from Sahan is a real plus. - The terrace is a lovely place to relax. - Sahan is very helpful and friendly, while also being respectful and not intrusive, which is much appreciated. - Great location: everything can be done on foot. The lively main street with restaurants is nearby, and the entrance to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa is only a 15-minute walk away.
− - The bed is extremely uncomfortable, far too hard, and we slept poorly during both nights. - The property is noisy and poorly soundproofed. However, the value for money is there. The place is clean, spacious, and the staff are very kind and welcoming. Two nights maximum is probably the right amount of time. :)
