If you value a good price in a superb location, and are happy with the basics.
7.0A great spot for a solo traveller without a car. The room is over the bar / restaurant.. my daily routine involved going for one of the many scenic walks in the area, and arriving back, grabbing a shower and heading downstairs for refreshments.
− The room was very dark (this is a feature of these old buildings as the windows are small). A small investment in better lighting would help. The bathroom was fairly basic but functional- I would happily stay here again given the proximity to the restaurant, the location and the price.

− Uncomfortable mattress, very thin walls between rooms and bathroom, and musty smell made this not a positive experience.

6.0Top Lage, direkt am Jakobsweg „CGA“. Große Gemeinschaftsküche.
− Kleines Gemeinschaftsbad inkl. Waschbecken und WC, was auch so beschrieben wird. Für zwei Unterkünfte generell ausreichend, aber am Waschbecken gibt es z.B. entweder warm ODER kaltes Wasser (sind zwei verschiedene Hähne). Im Bad keinerlei Ablage Möglichkeiten, oder Möglichkeiten etwas aufzuhängen (z.B. Handtuch). Kleines Zimmer ohne jegliche Ausstattung. Da man ein Gemeinschaftsbad hat, wäre es zumindest schön, wenn man sein Handtuch irgendwo aufhängen könnte! Es gibt weder einen Schrank noch einen Kleiderständer oder sonst irgendeinen Haken um etwas aufzuhängen. Für eine Nacht okay, aber in diesem Fall lieber eine Herberge nehmen! Kostet weniger, hat aber teilweise sogar mehr Komfort
Charismatic house, but old and cold
6.0Very cute and peaceful village, old and charismatic house. Big kitchen downstairs but tricky stairs to get there. Hot water and ok bathroom. So adequate enough to our needs.
− The room was quite cold and bed was hard and squeeky. Old house stinks a bit, maybe because there was humidity. In the room it would be nice to have some hooks or something to put your clothes and stuff. Noices from other rooms and outside were quite loud, but not very disturbing.
Great experience.
10.0A most marvellous stay in a very beautiful and historic setting. The bar downstairs was an authentic part of the local culture, and most of the food and beverage offerings were produced traditionally there in the town. This was very special. Campo de Geres is also a hub of some great walking trails. Accom was not fancy, but the overall experience was truly wonderful.
