Potential but disappointing

− Our booking said check-out at 10. The host wrote 8.30 on WhatsApp. Later he changed that to 9. Wi-fi didn't work. The modem was not connected to power. We had to search the big common area for the modem to plug it in. Extremely slow signal with buffering. Also no connection at times. No glasses, coffee pods, coffee mugs or tea mugs in the room or apartment. Red pipe sticking out in the bathroom. It was such a beautiful bathroom but that pipe ruined it all. The gate at street level was extremely difficult to open from the inside. Something has to be done, even if it's a house issue and not the B&B's responsibility! The door to the apartment is very tricky to unlock (as you can turn the key 3.5 times) if you don't know how it works. (It's very easy when you DO know, but you don't know when you get there!) There was a toilet roll where half of it had been dropped in water and then dried again. You CAN'T give that to paying guests!!! The common area was extremely hot. Run an AC on auto at 27 degrees or something so it's not uncomfortable to walk through the apartment to your room. And the breakfast; we had to ask about the breakfast. We then received a business card stuck under our door, where we could get our breakfast. We checked where it was and it was 1.1 km away!!! And then 1.1 km back again. As the host was going to "kick us out" at 9, we decided to take the car there on our way out of town. Almost all the streets in Novoli are one-way and Google was wrong about one street so we had to figure out a way to get there, which made the drive 2.5 km. And then you don't even get one pastry and one drink of your choice! You only get coffee as a drink and none of us are coffee drinkers!
