Hidden Gem on the Fox River
10.0We came from Austria to visit my mother in Crystal Lake for two weeks, so we wanted something a little special and found it here. The fact that it is in a historic building that has been lovingly restored by the owners and the property's personable handyman made it all the more special. We had a brand new bathroom in our apartment and a wonderful bedroom with the most comfortable bed! Our favorite place was down at the river in the Adirondack chairs with a view of downtown Algonquin where we could wind down and do some serious sundowning after a busy day. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit!
