Great place-will come again and stay longer!
9.0The view from our cabin was lovely, overlooking a pasture and out to the lake. Big Montana sky. Breakfast was really good too.
Peaceful and Comfortable Ranch
10.0Staff was amazing. The property was peaceful. Their were choices for breakfast that you could pick and the food was wonderful. Horse rides up the mountain was fun and you can walk down to the Corral to see the horses. Marge was very helpful in helping with a situation I needed help with.

9.0Breakfast, friendly staff.
− Door to the cabin doesn't lock.
Expected better
6.0Architecture of the room, creek flowing through the ranch and horses & cows grazing in the grassfield, and staff in the dining hall during breakfast hours.
− Dinner menu was too thin for vegetarians; Front desk staff were not approachable; Room was not prepared before the check in - dustbins were full and bathrooms were dirty; shower head was too tiny and more than half of the pores were clogged; although it was not from West Yellowstone but the road work during our stay made it a 30 minutes ride..
Short drive to Yellowstone national park. Included breakfast was exceptional.
8.0Catered towards horse back riding.
− No air conditioning
NOT worth the price: rude worker, bats roosting on cabin wall, and NO AC as advertised.
1.0-breakfast was good
− I’m honestly shocked by the number of positive reviews, because our stay was extremely disappointing. I have never written a negative review before, but I feel others should be aware of our experience. When we arrived and got into our cabin, I noticed there was no AC. I asked about it, especially since the booking information showed that AC was available, and I was told that none of the cabins had AC or fans because "it's a ranch" and "we should open our windows". Unfortunately, this was during a week when temperatures reached 106 degrees, and the lack of any way to cool the cabin made sleeping nearly impossible. On top of the heat, we had bats roosting on the cabin wall directly outside where we were staying. They were extremely loud throughout the night, and at times it sounded like they may have been inside the walls. When I brought this concern to staff, I was told, "it's a ranch, there are going to be bats," in a dismissive tone. While we completely understand that a rustic ranch setting comes with wildlife, we expected concerns about our accommodations to be taken seriously. We knew we were booking a rustic experience, but the condition and comfort level of the cabin were far below what we expected for the price. Between the extreme heat and the constant noise from the bats, we slept very poorly and were counting down the days until we could leave. Thankfully, we only booked two nights. We really wanted to enjoy our stay (especially after spending $500 on two nights), but unfortunately this was not the experience we hoped for or expected.
