An exceptional Sigiriya homestay where Tharu and his family treated us like family
10.0An unforgettable homestay experience in Sigiriya! Tharu made our trip completely hassle-free from start to finish. The family is genuinely kind and treated us like their own. They offered to drive us in and out of town by tuk-tuk at our leisure and seamlessly organized all our tours and safaris. Every morning, we were treated to an amazing breakfast spread of authentic Sri Lankan food and fresh fruits.The true testament to their kindness happened when my friend cut her leg after a small fall; the owners actually came to the hospital to support us while she got stitches. It is a real family vibe here. We highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Sigiriya!

10.0Een geweldige locatie: rustig in het midden van de velden, met een geweldig klein zwembad voor als je wil relaxen. Top hosts die alles voor je regelen met de glimlach. Lekker ontbijt!
Místo, kam bych se vrátila
10.0Personál byl opravdu velmi nápomocný a moc milý. Nebyl problém cokoli zařídit. Vyprání prádla, výlety, obědy a večeře. Ke každému jídlu dostanete ovoce. Dali nám spoustu užitečných informací a tipů. Vzali nás kamkoli jsme potřebovali. Když nám bylo špatně, majitel se o nás postaral a dokonce nám nabídl odvoz do nemocnice (což nakonec nebylo nutné). Pokoj byl čistý, koupelna také. V koupelně teče teplá voda. Na pokoji máte mini ledničku a konvici na čaj. Nad postelí je v pokojích hezká moskytiéra, která vás ochrání před komáry. Určitě doporučuji Village tour s nimi.
− Ocenili bychom více úložného prostoru na naše věci, jako například skříň nebo poličky, ale to na Srí lance najdete málokde. Na většině ubytování je zařízení skromné. Na snídani se většinou (mimo jiné) podává opečený toast, ke kterému jsme dostali máslo a džem. Džem bohužel nebyl vůbec chutný, byl kupovaný a bylo vidět, že je určený pro evropské turisty. Klidně bychom ho vyměnili za nějakou jinou lokální dobrotu, kterou je možné si na toast namazat. 🙂
Heerlijk in de watten gelegd bij deze homestay!
8.0De gastheer en gastvrouw waren erg lief. Ze regelen alles voor je en lachen altijd. Ook was het eten (zowel ontbijt, diner en lunch) altijd heerlijk! De cooking class die zij geven is ook echt een aanrader!
− Het is was wat afgelegen. Dit maakt opzich niet uit omdat ze je overal heen willen brengen. Verder was het bed iets te hard.
