The worst experience I've ever had staying in a hotel or visiting another country.
1.0The property looked nice and offered good rates. I did not use the pool or gym but they looked newly renovated and aesthetically pleasing.
− Upon our second night's stay housekeeping came to our room after we asked for them to not service our room. When we returned we noticed bugs covering our beds, bugs flying around our bathrooms, and stained bedsheets. There was a bad odor throughout our stay. We spent the night washing the bedding in the one unit washer/dryer and spraying the bathroom and windows down with insect repellent. Due to only having one washer that took a long time, we had to spend the night sleeping on the couch sofa. We used our jackets as pillows and blankets. It was an uncomfortable experience and we had bad night's sleep. The next day the property deep cleaned our apartment. It was better however the new bedding still had stains which we let them know. Due to us complaining to booking.com the property offered to move us from our room however at this point we were leaving the next day and felt it was too late. We asked for partial refund in which we thought the property manager was negotiating with booking.com. Upon departure they let us know what we thought was free airport pick up and drop off was only for pick up. Since we did not use their pick up service from the airport when arriving we thought it would count towards airport drop off. The hotel manager let us know this was not the cause and said drop off would be $20 which we agreed to pay. Last minute on the morning of, our airport fee was waived but we were not told why. We assumed this was from the property manager being apologetic. He let us know that they cannot receive a poor rating but wanted to make things right with partial refund and even offer to give a discount if we visited again and booked directly through the property instead of using the third party booking.com. They switched this story and told booking.com that we made an agreement that airport drop off would be compensation in place of a partial refund. I only requested a refund for the one night of poor sleep we had.

Excellent host, a well thought out apartment and attentive service.
10.0Excellent facilities, so safe and secure and has everything you need. The host service is impeccable; I felt so well cared for by genuine, kind hosts. Ghanaian hospitality at its best!
