Be mindful of the steep hill to property
3.0The view from the house, was the only part that was great about the property
− On arriving there was a lack of signage which made it hard to find the property. The pool was not fit for use, There was no cleaning done and there was dirt and algae at bottom. The kitchen was outdated and had rusty appliances. We were reluctant to use the fridge as it didn’t seem to be cleaned and was also outdated, plumbing wasn’t up to par either. Lack of cleanliness in other areas, like the netting had dead insects on it.
This property has the most fantastic view
10.0Jackie (property owner) was very responsive to messages, facilitated an early bag drop-off at short notice and couldn't have been more helpful. She provided restaurant recommendations, taxi hire and car hire information which helped us make the most of our stay. Spacious, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, fantastic views and only a stones throw to the Firefly for drinks. Taxi costs to the town and beaches were really reasonable at 25 ECD each way and there's some fantastic walks right on the doorstep to Crescent Bay and Industry bay.
