Exceptional

A truly wonderful accomodation. Contact with Maria was super easy and always helpful. The rooms were impeccably clean, everything we could have needed was there. A lovely small house over 2 and a half floors, stunning view, we felt right at home. Agira is also a really lovely city, sitting on top of a rather formidable hill - tiny, tiny streets - don't bring a big car!! We had a wonderful time!

Stunning place for all who love history and mountains

9.0

The location is stunning, although you will need to work a bit of sweat to get there (unless you come by car or can use the local mini-bus). The view from the balcony is mind-blowing. The house is in an ancient town building and you can touch the history here! It's not perfect, but it has tons of character! I was worried about the loft bed, but it was very comfortable, and I slept well there. I spent three weeks there in October for work and rest; it was a lovely, budget-friendly getaway. Agira is fantastic with its maze of streets and passages.

All the challenging issues came with the history of the building or geography, so there was nothing the owner could do about it. Before booking, you need to be aware that there are narrow stairs or small bathrooms in such historical buildings. Most of the old Mediterranean houses are built to survive hot summers, so winters can be challenging but the heating was working well.
