Kawaroa Park View - near CBD & coastal walkway

Was a nice 4night stay! Enjoyed the cozy place, just wished there were more towels & blankets.

Location was great and felt like I was close to everything!

− Maybe more blankets during this time of the year.

Has a lot of potential but the horrible smell makes it difficult to relax and enjoy.

The info said I would get the code for the lock box no later than 15mins before check in. I had nothing an hour after I was supposed to check in. Had to message the property to send me the code. The location was good, and the property would have met our expectations if it wasn’t for the smell.

− The smell on entering the property was terrible. The house is clearly shut up a lot, which is understandable. But the stench on entering was very off putting and tainted the whole experience. We had to air the house out, and then ended up spraying toilet air freshener throughout to try to mask the smell. The carpets certainly need a deep wet vac at the very least to try remove whatever it is. The blinds and windows were very very dirty and dusty. Given you have to touch the blinds to access the windows, these need a deep clean! We wanted to use the fan in the wardrobe. It was so dirty that I had to pull it apart and clean it before it could be used.

Such a great location, excellent kitchen facilities & super close to town. The pools & fabulous playground for our little one across the road was perfect for us.

− Street parking was tight, be aware of some noise next door as their balconies look over the property & if they're outside, you may hear them.

Loved the location. Walking distance to town and right on the walkway. But still quiet. There is a new children’s park nearby which looks fabulous if you have kids.

Location near the beach and near the squash club for national. Near town and very clean, tidy, warm and we'll equipped (kitchen, cooking, appliances, washing machine, tumbler etc.) I will definitely stay there again

− Just need a first aid kit (plaster etc.). I cut myself cooking a d I didn't find one. If it was one, I don't find it and I apologize Also, if you have a big car, you can't park in the garage. Very narrow garage entrace and impractical to accese. Double unit. The accommodation is the 1st and the back accommodation parked they car so you can't leave the car in the drive. So options 1 is park in the garage if your car is small or on the street (who is completely safe) Overall is a great place to stay
