Close to drive to the snow for a budget price.
7.0Close distance to drive to the snow for a cheap price (much cheaper than I could find in Cooma) The heater made the room lovely and warm.

− Beds were the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on, springs jabbing out of the mattresses and beds weren’t even clean with bits of fluff etc in the bed

9.0Lovely stay at the Federal. A warm, inviting old pub with kind and hospitable staff. If your expectations are correctly calibrated for a pub room in an old country pub, they will be exceeded. Very cozy and warm with a nice fire going in the corner of the bar when we walked in. Everyone was welcoming to us and to our dog, who also enjoyed the stay. My wife and I will be back.
− It's a pub room with shared bathrooms - these could use heating but I'm not sure how one would go about it in an energy efficient way especially with only a few guests staying.
