It was a fantastic place to stay - so pleased we chose it.
10.0The location was exceptional. It's on the quieter end of the lake where it's easy to access both the lakeside footpath and swimming. Having the campsite opposite was helpful for its lakeside restaurant (open from 8am daily except Tues) and small store selling fresh bread rolls from 7.30am. It's a pleasant 40 minute walk into the town of Zell am See, or a short drive or bus ride - bus stops right outside the house and the owner gave us a visitors' card which included free bus travel. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, and the house really spacious, warm and comfortable. A beautiful terrace and small garden too.
− It would have been helpful to have written instructions about practical things like sorting waste & recycling, busses, lake ferry - although it was great that so many tourist information leaflets were available there.
