The perfect example of a pleasant surprise!
10.0What a great find! The description of the place compared to the price sounded too good to be true at first and there were no ratings available to back it up. No wonder, as we were the first guests at Villa JK. You indeed have the full place to yourself, including garden and massive rooftop terrace. Everything you need is there, including kitchen. Perfectly suited to hang out all by yourself with nobody around to bother you. The landlord is extremely helpful and supportive. He backed us up with additional kitchen gear and made sure nothing else was amiss. Yes, it's remote and quiet, but you won't miss out on anything, as Weligama Beach is just a 5 minute Tuk Tuk ride away. You will be hard pressed to find a bigger gem at this price in Weligama.
− Not a criticism at all, but just a piece of information which is hard to display on booking.com: Of the 74 square meters, only about a third is air conditioned indoor space. The rest (including the kitchen) is a roofed over outdoor space, wonderful to hang out in.
