Unique, pleasant, well maintained property with many amenities and helpful artist hosts.
10.0Landscape with garden and pool was beautiful. Room was decorated with lovely details by the artists. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. It was nice to be farther from the bustle of Tamarindo and enjoy the pool each day. Rural restaurant close by served delicious reasonably priced meals.
− The suites are close to a busy road so there’s traffic noise but earplugs helped at night. It’s a challenging 2km walk to the beach but doable.

10.0The hosts were super friendly and lovely. The property was a gorgeous oasis in a well-secured yard. We had a vehicle which made it easier to get into Tamarindo plus visit other nearby beaches (parking was directly out front). We would highly recommend this property if in the Tamarindo area.

A Tropical Paradise
10.0It felt like an oasis on the edge of the hustle and bustle of the delightful town of Tamarindo. It was so relaxing and refreshing to come back to rest and relax at the Suite La Orquidea. Everything my wife and I needed to enjoy our visit was provided by our hosts, Mariela and Sergio. The pool was always clean, and the outside courtyard surrounding the pool was like a botanic garden. We felt secure, safe, and well looked after. Sergio made sure we knew where there were good restaurants and the best grocery stores. All around, this was one of the most relaxing places I've stayed in.
