9.0This was a fantastic little spot, we enjoyed the Lake District from this spot & would love to return again some day. So peaceful & Philippa was great.

Peaceful weekend stay 😌
10.0Lovely peaceful location with a great woodland walk on the doorstep. Only a 10 minute drive to Cockermouth where there are plenty of places to eat and fab coffee shops. Philippa the host is lovely and came to welcome us on arrival and show us around. She baked us a gorgeous ginger cake too which was much appreciated after a long drive. Plenty of games and books for those rainy days. We had a fantastic time.

10.0We loved everything about Foxglove and Ivy. Philippa is super friendly, and even baked us a delicious welcome cake. The lodge is clean and comfortable with everything you could need, very much a home from home. Dog friendly with a large enclosed deck. The site is absolutely immaculate, very quiet and beautifully maintained Located on the A595, one of the three arterial roads around the Lake District, so really easy to get anywhere. We will definitely be booking again, and can't wait to come back! :)
