Pretty villa

− There was no hot water in all of the bedrooms. We reported the issue, and the property manager had to manually restart the water heater so that the other rooms could have hot water again. However, while she was there and my friend was in the shower, the water cut off once more. We were a big group, and every morning some of us had to come and shower in our bathroom, which went on for 4 days. We specifically chose this property because it has several bedrooms and bathrooms so that we could get ready efficiently. Being told by the host that “you shouldn’t use the showers at the same time or flush the toilet too often” is simply not acceptable, especially considering the price we paid. Upon arrival, the toilets were dirty, and someone had left excrement in them. We were in frequent contact with the property manager due to ongoing issues. She was very responsive and helpful, but she cannot fix everything, the water system in the villa clearly needs to be redone. We would like to emphasize that we remained patient and acted in good faith throughout our stay. We also requested financial compensation due to the inconveniences. We were only partially refunded, for an amount significantly lower than what we had requested, and were threatened with being reported to Booking for allegedly damaging and dirtying the property. This is simply not true. We gathered all the trash in the kitchen, removed the towels, and cleaned before leaving, yet we were told there was “too much trash.” We also tried to enjoy the pool area once, but one of the sun chair was broken. We did not report it at the time as we did not consider it our responsibility. The manager visited the house the day before our departure, the broken chair was still there, and nothing was mentioned to us. It is very disappointing to later be blamed for damage that was most likely caused by previous guests or already present, seemingly as a way to avoid giving us a proper refund.

The property is very neat, well maintained, and equipped with all the necessary facilities. It offers good value for money and provides a comfortable stay. Although it is not very close to the city center, the location is still convenient and manageable for travel.

De rustige locatie, vanwaaruit je gemakkelijk dagtrips kan maken over het eiland! Je kijkt uit over heuvels en de zee!

La ubicación era la que sabíamos. Bien comunicado

− No había presión de agua. Para 10 personas era muy incomodo no poder ducharse, ni fregar ni nada. Las cisternas tardaban en llenarse. Uno de los lavabos no evacuaba el agua.

Very relaxing, and a really helpful hostess. Angela could not have made our stay more enjoyable, thankyou so much.

Very quiet and private. Comfortable beds and a good size. So comfy we didn’t bother going to the beach

− Pool just a tad cold!

If you like privacy and quiet this will be the place for you. A real tonic!

We loved the privacy of the villa. The views were great. Angela couldn't have been a better host, so responsive. The beds were very comfy and the showers were fab! A car is essential but it's so easy to get down to the lovely Playa San Juan where there is a big range of lovely cafes, bars and restaurants - mostly with a gorgeous sea view across to La Gomera!

− The configuration of the property means that there is only one bedroom as part of the main house. The other bedrooms are accessed separately from their own outside doors. But once you got used to that it was fine! Air con would have been nice as it was very hot while we were there but we knew that the villa didn't have it, so no complaints!
