10.0Fantastic apartment in a perfect Carvoeiro location After lots of research into the best place in Portugal for a family holiday with older teens, Carvoeiro kept coming out on top — and it absolutely lived up to expectations. It’s a lovely destination on a stunning stretch of coastline, and we wanted somewhere comfortable, high quality, and close enough to the town centre without feeling too busy. We booked Grand View Oasis Carvoeiro Algarve through Booking.com, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. The apartment had exactly the right mix of space, comfort, quality, and relaxed holiday feel. It’s on a small, peaceful complex with a good-sized shared pool and a wonderful view over Carvoeiro bay. The location was perfect for us. It is worth noting that it sits at the top of a hill, so there is a walk back up from the centre. For most people this is completely manageable, but if hills are an issue, you may prefer to use taxis or choose somewhere lower down in town. A special mention has to go to Gianny, who was brilliant from start to finish. Communication before arrival and during the stay was clear, friendly, and helpful. We arrived earlier than the usual check-in time, and Gianny was great in helping make that work for us. The lockbox made arrival really easy, and we had all the information we needed to get settled straight away. There are only around a dozen properties on the complex, and at times it felt even quieter than that. The property itself is even nicer than the photos, which is saying something because it already looks lovely online. It’s bright, airy, spacious, and really homely. You can tell the owners have put thought into making sure guests have everything they need. The front patio was one of our favourite spots, with the pool just nearby and the apartment’s own table, chairs, and loungers ready to use. The pergola cover was also very welcome for a bit of shade.

10.0The apartment was super. We were a couple with 2 adult sons. The pool was an added value. Being a short walk from town was so convenient. The town and the beach were charming. I would rate this one a -10. Hope we can come back. The host was in communication and checked on us. We had the best time. 🙏🏼🙏🏼😊😊
