Neptune Terrace is the perfect lock-up-and-go apartment, offering excellent security, secure basement parking, and easy access for complete peace of mind. The spacious two-bedroom apartment is beautifully equipped with crisp white linen, a full bathroom with a bath and shower, a separate toilet, and a fully stocked kitchen complete with an air fryer, washing machine, and dryer—ideal for families of up to five. The private balcony offers stunning ocean views, making it the perfect spot to enjoy both sunrises and sunsets. Conveniently located within walking distance of Surfers Corner, cafés, and restaurants, it was especially great that our teens could safely walk to meet friends in the evenings.

− Nothing significant to mention. The only minor issues were that the floors seemed to have a cleaning product residue, leaving them feeling slightly greasy or sticky underfoot, and the dryer drum didn't turn, so we weren't able to use it.

− Disappointing Stay at Neptune Terrace Unit 34 Unfortunately, our stay at Neptune Terrace Unit 34 was disappointing. Upon arrival, we noticed that the sliding door leading to the balcony from the lounge was locked, but there was no key provided. The sliding door in the main bedroom also opens onto the balcony, but although a key was in the lock, the locking mechanism was broken and the door could not be secured properly. As a result, cold wind came through the door throughout the night, making it very uncomfortable to sleep, and my husband ended up getting sick. The kitchen and lounge area were also infested with cockroaches, which was extremely unpleasant. I immediately informed the host about these issues after collecting the keys, as I wanted it to be clear that these problems existed before our arrival. Unfortunately, despite waiting two days, I never received any response or acknowledgement. The overall cleanliness was also below standard. There were used tissues on the floor in the main bedroom, the fridge was dirty, and the unit generally felt neglected and unclean. It's disappointing because the location is lovely, but the lack of maintenance, cleanliness, and communication made this stay far below expectations. I hope these issues are addressed for future guests.

− ⭐☆☆☆☆ Our stay at 34 Neptune, Jeffreys Bay was unfortunately a major disappointment for our family. The biggest issue was that the sliding door from the living area does not open onto the balcony at all. The only access to the balcony is through the main bedroom, and that sliding door cannot even be locked. On top of that, the main bedroom is very small, and you have to squeeze past the double bed just to get to the door. The ceiling fans are also hanging noticeably crooked. 👎🏻 The gas braai on the balcony was heavily rusted, and there was even a cigarette butt pressed into it, which certainly did not create a good first impression. We also experienced ongoing hot water problems. The geyser repeatedly tripped at the electrical distribution board (DB), leaving us with cold showers. To make matters worse, there wasn’t even any dishwashing liquid provided, which is a basic necessity in any self-catering accommodation. We also found cockroaches crawling across the kitchen countertops, and there were dirty coffee mugs left in the cupboard. 👎🏻 Unfortunately, these issues made our stay very unpleasant. With better maintenance and more attention to basic cleanliness and guest comfort, this property has potential. However, based on our experience, we cannot recommend it. And after reading the review only later on we can see this is nothing new. All the issues have been mentioned before.

I could not sleep on the beds each day was a count down to going home. The fans have gathered dust..

− The linen, towels and bathroom were not clean. The linen was very dirty, someone had slept in the beds. Stains are not good, rather replace the linen. The bathroom should never be mouldy around the tub, those are things that can easily be cleaned with Handy Andy.

− Opposite police station. Got a bit rowdy in the evening in the parking lot outside the station.
