Luxueuze villa met mooi onderhouden tropische tuin

Prachtige villa met 4 slaapkamers. Het Indonesische koppel dat inwoont boven de keuken is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Tropische tuin is mooi en verzorgd.

− Gelegen achteraan een zeer smal straat je naar de zee. WIFI was onbestaande in bijgebouw in de tuin. Geen bovenlakens voorzien in de bedden.

The Puspita house is a beautiful and thoughtfully decorated villa. It was a joyful place to stay with my family of 7 people. It is located at the end of a quiet street, almost on the beach of an estuary on the west shore of Tanjung Benoa. There is a spacious living room with sitting space around a coffee table where we played games, and a large dining table with plenty of space for everyone. There are two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms on each side of the living room, one bedroom upstairs, and a separate spacious bungalow for two across the garden. I totally appreciated the Indonesian house decor elements and took pictures of some as inspiration for my Jakarta home. It was also nice to have lots of dishes, cups and bowls in the kitchen to serve our meals. The swimming pool was super refreshing, and the huge backyard with perfect luscious green grass was oh so nice. The upstairs gazebo in the garden was a great hangout spot. I could have stayed there for a month just to enjoy the house. Daniel, the host, was responsive and friendly, and kindly arranged for massage therapists to come to the house, which was very convenient (one of them was super amazing and gave me an excellent massage!). I voiced some issues related to bed linens and air conditioning, and they were addressed the same day. The couple who live on the premises and help take care of the house were so hospitable, cheerful and helpful - thanks Inna and Otta! They offered subtle service and help while giving us all the privacy we needed.

− There were a few issues that, if fixed, would make this a 10 out of 10. The main of them was plumbing. The water pressure in the upstairs shower was so weak that water would just stop flowing every couple of minutes for like 5-7 seconds to restart again. It took so long for the water to warm up I didn't realize that there was warm water in the upstairs shower until day 4 (and I was taking showers twice a day.. :) The toilet hose and the bidet upstairs weren't functioning. Two of the toilets around the property had issues with the flushing mechanism. Some wooden doors and windows need minor adjustments to open without jamming. The kitchen cabinets needed to be replaced as many of them were in bad shape (this wasn't critical for our stay but worth mentioning). Lastly, I would recommend that they procure simple flat bed sheets for guests to sleep under. When we arrived, the beds were covered with thick duvets without covers on them or sheets underneath. Luckily we resolved this by taking some bed sheets from the linen closet per the host's suggestion. But all the sheets in there were fitted sheets - better than nothing, but would be better to have flat sheets (or duvet covers) to sleep under.
