Une très belle villa, confortable et bien équipée, avec une vaste terrasse très agréable et une piscine privée (qui doit être sympa en été !). Un accueil chaleureux avec la liqueur de cerise locale ... et une situation dans un petit village tranquille permettant de rayonner sans problème dans la région.

First of all, I would like to thank the hosts for their personal welcome, especially considering our very late arrival at the accommodation. We arrived from the airport after 1 a.m. The hosts were waiting for us and showed us around the entire property. We received a local liqueur as a welcome gift – it was very good! The kitchen had every conceivable appliance, two sets of dishes and glasses, so we never lacked anything. There was a Nespresso coffee machine with capsules, a toaster, a microwave oven, and a toaster. Dishwasher capsules and washing powder were also available. I really appreciate that – it's not standard. The kitchen also had olive oil and spices. There was ice in the freezer – simply a perfectly equipped kitchen ready to use. We had maximum privacy in the accommodation and it was a nice place to relax. There was outdoor seating with a barbecue – charcoal, wood, and firelighters were also available. All the equipment for barbecuing and cleaning the grill was provided. There was also a large swimming pool, although the water was very cold. The location was a short distance from Foz de Arelho and the town of Obidos. It was a short drive to the highway, and all the major shops we needed were in a nearby town. Arelho itself is a more peaceful place with a small shop and bistro. We enjoyed and I can only recommend this place. We wont be coming back, but we will have awesome memories from beautiful holidays.

− Among the shortcomings, I would definitely include the creaking beds and doors in both bedrooms. Every turn was audible and always woke me up. Likewise, when I was the first to get up in the morning, I woke up the whole family with the creaking doors. I would definitely recommend oiling the hinges or replacing them. There are several enthusiastic roosters and dogs in the area - who enthusiastically welcome the new day from 4 a.m. - this is not a complaint about the host. It just woke us up every time we had the window open. We missed having a larger SMART TV where we could watch Netflix or other streaming platforms – again, this is not a complaint, but rather a suggestion. We like to spend our evenings with the children watching movies during our vacation. The handheld vacuum cleaner in the kitchen has seen better days – it doesn't suck at all. We solved everything by sweeping, which wasn't a problem, but I would have the vacuum cleaner repaired or thrown away. The pool was very cold, comparable to the ocean. Combined with the constant wind, it wasn't suitable for regular long swims. Next time, I will definitely look for a heated pool. In general, all the cabinets in the house smelled of dampness, and there were even scented trees hanging in the kitchen cabinets – it wasn't pleasant, but it didn't affect our stay in any way. High humidity is typical for the area; laundry doesn't dry outside and tends to get wetter overnight.

La casa de Susana es un lugar maravilloso para pasar unos días de descanso en un lugar tranquilo pero bien comunicado para disfrutar del centro de Portugal con sus poblaciones históricas y parajes naturales. El alojamiento está muy cuidado y tiene todo lo que puedas necesitar para tus vacaciones. La piscina y el patio con las vistas a la Laguna de Óbidos hacen que la estancia en la casa sea una experiencia muy agradable y relajante. Pero sobre todo, destacaría la gran profesionalidad y excelente trato de Susana, la anfitriona, que estuvo presente tanto a nuestra llegada, como el día que nos fuimos. Durante nuestra estancia, estuvo disponible ante cualquier duda que nos surgió y su respuesta siempre fue rápida y muy atenta. Muchas gracias por hacer nuestra estancia tan agradable Susana!

Hemos pasado unos días maravillosos en familia la casa es muy bonita y muy acogedora .Su piscina y zona para comer fuera es una delicia desde donde hemos disfrutado de preciosos atardeceres con una buena cena. Susana su dueña nos recibió con un detalle de cosas típicas de la zona que es de agradecer y una gran sonrisa. La casa está en un pueblo tranquilo y cómodo para moverse sin problema por la zona , Nazare , Sao marthinho do Porto... Muy cerquita de Obidos un pueblo precioso. También próximo a Caldas da Rainha donde hay de todo para poder comprar y pasear por el parque Don Carlos que nos sorprendió. Sin duda si tenemos ocasión repetiremos.

Toller Blick von der Terrasse. Küche gut ausgestattet. Sehr nette Gastgeber. Bequeme Betten. Alles super-sauber! Tolle Lage! Lagune von Obidos schnell zu erreichen.
