⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed here for 4 weeks and it was absolutely worth the 24-hour drive from the Netherlands! The village itself is beautiful, authentic, and full of medieval charm, surrounded by stunning nature and mountains. The location is perfect, close to the border between Portugal and Spain, so you can easily enjoy both countries and cultures. A supermarket is just a short drive away, and there are lots of lovely towns and places to visit within driving distance. For us, it was the ideal base to explore the area. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is air conditioning in both bedrooms and the living room, which was very easy to use and much appreciated during warm days. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, cutlery, a dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, and everything else you might need. Having two bathrooms was also a big plus. There are two cozy sitting areas, including one at the back of the house with a beautiful view of the garden. The garden is absolutely gorgeous, large, peaceful, and full of beautiful flowers and trees. There are several cherry trees, two fig trees, an apple tree, a walnut tree, and an almond tree. If you’re lucky, you may even get to enjoy some of the fruit! The swimming pool was wonderful and perfect for cooling off and relaxing while listening to the birds. There is a lovely outdoor dining area, a comfortable lounge area, and additional lounge chairs by the pool for relaxing in the sun. A big bonus for dog owners: the entire garden is fenced, so your dog can safely run around and play freely. One small tip: if you have a wide car, be extra careful when entering the property and driving through the village, as some roads are quite narrow. Using your car cameras or having someone guide you can be very helpful. We took the turn at the entrance gate incorrectly on our first day and a sharp stone near the gate caused a tear in one of our tyres.

La casa está súper cuidada y limpia, tiene absolutamente de todo. Se encuentra en un pueblito muy tranquilo y el anfitrión es muy atento y detallista.

Muita tranquilidade na envolvente da casa. Espaços limpos e cuidados. Regras da casa bem definidas. Anfitrião muito disponível e simpático. Santiago de Compostela e São Francisco de Assis foram um extra que nos fez sentir em casa. Apesar do frio, os quartos têm climatização e o ambiente fica acolhedor.

− A água quente, num inverno rigoroso, escasseou. Somos uma família de 5 e sentimos dificuldade em ter água quente para mais de dois duches seguidos.

Preciosa casita en el norte de Portugal

Casita con mucho encanto para explorar los alrededores de Braganza. Estaba súper bien equipada con todo lo necesario y el anfitrión siempre estuvo pensiente de que no nos faltara de nada. Hay rutas de senderismo alrededor y, a un rato de coche, un montón de pueblos que visitar.

− Está en un pueblito prácticamente vacío donde no hay nada a mano. Necesitas coche para todo. Para nosotros no era un problema porque buscábamos eso, pero está bien comentarlo.

Todo ha estado muy bien. El hecho de tener la chimenea y poder hacer uso de la leña ahí mismo, fue un adelanto. La casita tiene de todo. Tiene productos para usar en la cocina de todo tipo, tanto en cazuelas, sartenes como aceite, sal..... Está muy equipada con ropa de cama de sobra. Puedes dejar dentro el coche, tiene sitio suficiente. En general, nos ha gustado
