Very nice place to stay in Padstow.

Property is in an excellent position for the town and has parking. Very well equipped and homely. Suited our needs for a short break and would consider coming back.

− The property was excellent, although £600 for two nights was steep, particularly with the 4pm entry and then 10am exit, meaning for the cost of staying you only get 42 hours max. I do though understand the owners really want longer stays than ours.

Location was fantastic; just a short walk into the village but close enough not to be amongst the crowds. Parking onsite outside or adjacent to the property was very welcome, especially on the sunny weekend we stayed in Padstow. The layout of the house suited our needs although the upstairs bedrooms are quite small and the upstairs floor creaks when anyone is walking around. The bedrooms would suit a family staying together but two couples might be a bit of a squeeze. The enclosed back garden would be great for children or summer evenings. Thank you for the welcome gift of local gin and other goodies.

− No soap. I've staying in all sorts of accommodation all over the world including the UK, but I've never stayed in one that did not provide even a tiny bit of SOAP. There was not a piece of soap anywhere in the house which we found perplexing (kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 1 downstairs toilet). Easily fixed as we had to go to the shops anyway but would have been inconvenient to discover this when having a bath or shower. There were lovely high end "White Company" room fresheners but no bar or liquid soap. The welcome gift was lovely to receive, especially after a long drive from London, but if you could add in some soap that would be amazing.

Clean, great location, warm, comfortable, milk in the fridge on arrival, G&T on the table, plenty of loo paper, cotton wool balls in the bathroom. Designer hand and body lotion in every loo - of which there were 3.
