10.0Question is what’s not to like. Stayed in the Lodge which was way beyond my expectations. From the ambience, attention to detail and the location I was in awe. Cleanliness is top notch and Phill and Maria were exceptional hosts. Accommodating of my mistake on check in. Easy to talk to and very responsive to any query I had. Used the boat which was fun. Massive private wooded garden which had a calming aura just what I needed after a hectic day at work. Also went down the road to the local pub where we managed to get a 15% discount for food and drinks as guests at Spinney Lodge.
− That I couldn’t stay longer. Will most definitely be going back and recommending to family and friends.

A place of calm in a world of chaos… ❤️
10.0Phil and Maria are exceptional hosts who couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable even staying up till almost 1am when we were stuck on the motorway for hours. The Hideaway is a haven of peace and tranquillity away from our hectic lives in London. It's just as good as any 5* place around the world. Will definitely look into going away there soon! The only slight I could think of was was that the WIFI is quite weak. Not a bad thing for a place to be away from the chaos of life!
