Lovely location for a family holiday
9.0Lovely situation, quiet and furnished to a high spec. Roomy and clean. Pet friendly. Basket of local produce on arrival a nice touch.
− Could be clearer on website that house is some distance from estate centre, e.g. swimming pool and farm shop
Beautiful, would stay again. Staff very helpful and friendly, property and location outstanding.
10.0The cottage was beautiful, the location was perfect.
− A couple of things, the kitchen table surface was sticky, the staff sorted it by providing a table cloth. The sofa in the lounge collapsed, the staff sorted it by replacing the broken sofa legs.

10.0Comfortable, great location just a minute’s walk from Windermere but also very quiet and secluded.
− More of a general comment than a problem, the decision to put a bathtub open-plan into the master bedroom was an interesting one. Some problems using it without getting the floor wet, but I get that a bathtub is a required amenity for many people and that it wouldn’t fit elsewhere.
Great place to stay for a long or a short break.
8.0Beautifully situated near Lake Windermere offering a walk along the shore. Well equipped and newly furnished. Wi-Fi on tap. Much nicer than being in an hotel
