Tasteful and quirky
8.0We stayed in July 2026. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The flat is located under the eaves in what would have been the attic space of a 600 year old pub. It has been thoughtfully designed and converted into a flat. It was very clean throughout. We enjoyed having access onto the roof terrace. This could be improved by the addition of garden table, sunshade and chairs. The quirky change in floor level for each room is authentic for a building of that age. We liked the decor and the well equipped kitchenette.
− The need to carry our luggage up the steep external stairs. The flat is directly above the bar/restaurant. We were aware of some chat but not excessive noise during opening hours. It probably gets noisy during special events. The steeply sloping ceilings add to the attractive quirky feel but are a hazzard for tall people. There is no wardrobe.
