I think the host needs to review and improve the facilities

The location was good.We requested an iron and hair dryer and this was provided which was good.

− The facilities in the property were lacking. No bins in the bedrooms. One teaspoon! No microwave! The carpet next to the kitchen in the hallway was loose and a trip hazard. The oven wasn’t very clean and there were no cleaning materials in the kitchen.

There was nothing to like it looks nothing like the pictures it’s very shabby and rough and the dirties place I have ever been in, the house was falling apart infested with spiders and bed bugs I had to wash the utensils before use even then I did not want to use them,

− Everything, this was complete false advertising the house was filthy the bins had maggots in them and had not been emptied in a long time, the back garden had bags of rubbish in it, I did not take my shoes off because the carpet was filthy and I ended up cancelling out trip because the house could not even be lived in

Beds comfortable. We asked about towels and they were provided. Kitchen equipment and facilities.

− Showers - water pressure and heating. Scalding or cold with no explanations as to how they worked. Two of the shower head fittings were not securely attached. Used shower over bath to avoid being scalded but no anti slip mat! Carpets downstairs stained and there was a tear in stair carpet. Stairs very steep and one handrail was not attached securely at the top of the stairs. There was evidence of snail trails on carpets downstairs. Rubbish was piled up outside the front of the house and we were told it would be removed, it was still there at the end of our visit. No explanation given for TV, WiFi etc. One of our group made the comment that a great deal of work still needed to be done in the house.
