A spacious apartment with a large veranda with doors out to it from every room. Well appointed with good quality appliances, beautifully decorated throughout. A shop that literally sells everything anyone could possibly want just round the corner and eight restaurants an easy walk away in the Plaza.

We had arranged a time to meet Fernando to get the keys from him. There is a communal entry gate for the 3 apartments in the block, so it's not as simple as just having a key box. I will add that security is never an issue in Frigiliana, it's just that this block also has a communal entry. Fernando arrived shortly before us, so we weren't kept waiting at all, which was very much appreciated. The apartment itself is absolutely spotless, and is furnished to a very high standard. There are 3 bedrooms, all which have access to the good sized terrace, along with the lounge. The master bedroom has an excellent en suite with a large shower. Every room was immaculately clean, and very comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed should you feel the need to use any of the utilities, but why would you, other than the fridge? If you know Frigiliana, you know that the steps up and down the hill can be challenging. The location of Casa Mari is just about perfect. It is a few steps up from the road (no road in Frigiliana is what you'd call a main road), and this takes a lot of pain out of getting around. To get to Calle Real, you can either walk all the way up the steps right outside the front door, or walk up a handful and then turn into the botanic gardens. This gives some time to catch your breath before heading up the last few onto c. Real itself. There is a little bit of occasional moped noise, if you are on the terrace, but nowhere near enough to spoil sitting out during the afternoon siesta. The spacious terrace itself has a table that will seat 6. There are no sunbeds, but 2 of the chairs recline to an almost horizontal position, and are perfectly suited to relaxing for a couple of hours. There is a supermarket just yards from the bottom of the steps to the apartment. In all honesty, I don't understand why Casa Mari doesn't have more reviews. It is a beautiful apartment in the perfect location.
