Great stay in Snake Bay with some caveats

Easy access to North and South, fantastic views, beautifully appointed wooden cabin

− Appeared to have been cleaned sometime before we moved in so required reclean by us. One of our 2 nights spoilt by loud music but that isn’t the fault of the property.

Great location and fantastic place to switch off. But for the price there were several essentials that were missing when

Location was superb. Beds were super comfortable.

− Limited facilities such as no range hood at cooktop, poor insulation between walls. Bathroom had no tiles or floor waste so water was collating and slippery on timer floor, especially when trying to get out of the bath. No Wifi. No rubbish facilities no dishwasher. Shower over bath was too low and quite difficult to manoeuvre in and out. Would not recommend for anyone who has falls risk

Comfy Off Grid House

This house is in a nice secluded bay with excellent views over the water. The design of the house is very clever as it utilizes the westerly sun to keep it nice and warm on the cool afternoons and evenings. It might be off the grid but it is extremely comfortable and well appointed. I definitely recommend staying here for anyone wanting to enjoy Bruny Island.

This is the ultimate "get away from it all"! From the moment I walked in the door, thge place was perfect! Very clean, beautifully presented and with all necessitites on hand.

− I should have stayed longer

Enjoyable, please take stock and provide guests with essentials in the "fully equipped" kitchen.

A lovely cabin in a peaceful location. Great fireplace that kept the cabin warm through our stay.

− For being "fully equipped" it sure was missing a few essential items in the kitchen. Missing a whisk, mixing bowls, we only had one small chopping board, and lot of the pans and pots were scratched and not looked after by previous guests, this was disappointing. Once you get to Bruny there is no where to purchase these items. Please take stock and provide your guests with everything you would find in a stocked kitchen. For the price we pay I expect premium. The huge diesel generator for the battery started up at 12am, not a good time! It was rumbling and vibrating the entire property. Otherwise enjoyed, and made the most of pour time and what we had available.
