Good location and character accommodation, one of two units, upper and lower house. In need of some maintenance, easily

− Poor lighting, would not be able to cook a dinner after sundown. Many lights not working / lamps, lamp broken, dishwasher loaded, didn’t work. Many instructions and communications from host over 2 days. Shower head needs replacement. Water only passing through some holes, meaning , surprisingly painful shower downstairs.

10.0Home was quiet and had nice restful nights after our hikes. Restaurants and store were not far and didn't have to drive far.

4.0Five stars for the property, half a star for the host; if I could figure out how to contact her to complain! This place is a gem: spacious, vaulted ceilings that make you feel briefly regal, two bathrooms, and a price so reasonable I almost felt guilty. Almost. Then there’s the host, who must be training for the World Procrastination Championships.
− Imagine trying to summon a ghost via Ouija board: That’s about how responsive the host was. I asked five times for the laundry room code and received a series of replies that were as useful as a chocolate teapot. By message five, I finally cracked the Da Vinci Code and got access to clean socks. Then came the grand finale: Our door code expired two days before checkout. We came back from an outdoor adventure, exhausted and dreaming of showers, only to find ourselves locked out. We called the host, but her phone might as well have been an ancient relic buried deep in Atlantis. Silence. Nothing. She’s apparently allergic to answering. Bring your detective skills and a battering ram; this paradise comes with a phantom host! If you’re looking for a beautiful place and enjoy the thrill of escape-room-style problem-solving, this is the rental for you. Just make sure you bring a sleeping bag in case you get locked out.
