Avoid if you want to support locals
3.0The space is large and well located for Bocas town. Our favourite part about this place was Mauricio the man who worked there. He was very attentive, helpful and friendly.
− Unfortunately this property is let down by the attitude of the owner. The owner insists on paying cash and when asked a simple question was extremely rude and abrupt in response. The cash machines available charge a large amount to withdraw so bring more money out before you arrive if you plan to stay here. Owner is British (so are we) so if you are looking to support locals go elsewhere. The room also had a bad smell consistently and was not sound proof so noisy neighbours woke us up continuously. No water is provided meaning we had to buy continuous bottles from the shop adding to the plastic waste on the island. Owner could easily provide a large tank and even charge for this but obviously isn’t bothered.
