− Honestly, how is this on booking.com?!? It was like walking into a 70’s hammer house of horrors film. 100% the worst place I’ve ever stayed! 1st off They didn’t bother to answer the door, so I had to walk in through the heavy iron creeky gate, immediately greeted by barking dogs, in & up the stairs into the skanky cigarette smoke stained hall, wandering around in each room until I heard the faint sound of Spanish game show on t.v… follow the trail up another flight of stairs to a door marked privado. I knocked & from a puff of smoke a small grubby man appeared waving we into the next room & handing me a key & leaving again, Lovely, pleasantries over I dumped my bag on the table & realised that everything was covered in a film of filth & smoke. I couldn’t even sit on the bed, I had to put a towel down. I realised that I had to be drunk to stay here so headed to the local bar, a mere 20 min walk through steep winding country roads with no lights or pavement & over a busy motorway. Lovely night at bar had, I walked back in The pitch black with no joke … bats circling around me & dogs howling. Again rang the door bell to no effect, silly me, so entered via barking dogs. There was no way I was getting under that cover (see photo) so slept in my silk sleeping bag liner with all my clothes on to keep warm. Earplugs in ears & also nostrils. On one side of my room there was an Italian guest shouting on his phone & on the other side the hosts iwith the tv blaring & her shouting on her phone. I got bugger all sleep & was woken several times by the host shouting on her phone at people & the dogs barking. There was no way I was getting undressed so can’t tell you if the shower works. Breakfast ( see photos) yum a class on dirty water with muddy rocks in it? I’m good thanks. Next to ONE biscuit in a manky old jar, but don’t worry, it wasn’t alone, it was lying on a thick bed of old biscuit crumbs.
