Wasn't an expensive stay by any means, but was disappointingly presented
4.0House itself was nice, had a table tennis table too which was good after a long day
− font door was jammed, yard really needs some love, with knee high grass and plenty of weeds. Weather has been really wet, so perhaps couldn't get to it. The beds were also hard as a rock, basically boxes with sheets on them
Disgusting maggots and unkept home
1.0This property was the worst place we’ve ever booked. We drove into the driveway and the first impression (a bad one, with an overgrown and rundown front yard) set the scene. I didn’t like anything about the property.
− It was filthy - maggots all throughout the garage and entering the house, broken glass all over the living room tiles, used pregnancy test and cotton tips on the floor under the coffee table, pubic hair and hair on the mattresses (which were very hard and not able to be slept on), wet towels (who knows if clean) left on the beds for us, bags and bags of rubbish left piled out the back, dishes in the dishwasher all burnt and dirty, brown stains on the windows, a horrible smell throughout the house. The property manager initially tried to empathise but she blamed it on previous guests (which is not our problem or a reasonable excuse). We could not stay here and had to leave with our toddler at 10pm to find somewhere else to stay (we couldn’t find anywhere and had to drive 2 hours to bunk somewhere). Despite being told we would receive a refund in full, it has been over three weeks and I still have nothing, with messages now being ignored. DO NOT book this home.
