We had taken part in a long distance running event. To come back to such peace and quiet was amazing

− Tiny, tiny problem we had was the shower water didn't drain away well. Shower was great. Powerful and hot, but the tray filled

Peaceful comfortable cottage in a lovely setting

Quiet location on a diversified farm in the beautiful South Downs National Park. Newly converted with great kitchen and very comfortable beds. Cosy living area (one sofa) and a modern bathroom. Dog friendly with a covered and gated outside patio where they snoozed away the day. Lots to do eg walks, sauna, trekking -we didnt try anything as we were in the area for a wedding, but it all looked fun and well run. Very eco-minded (eg toiletries, recycling, heating). Nearby to some lovely villages (Midhurst, Petworth), NT properties and the SouthDowns Path.

− Not a problem for us but do follow the detailed instructions to reach the cottage. Some potholes but its a farm, folks! Also note that the cottage is near to the stables (very clean, no smells or noise) which we found interesting to watch but if you dont like that, be aware.

We had such a wonderful stay. The cottage was clean and very well equipped. It was well decorated and the farm was just wonderful to walk around.

The bed linen was excellent and the property was clean.

− The property is advertised as accommodating six people but there are only two double bedrooms and a very small sitting room where the sofa faces a wall and is at right angles to the tv. There is comfortable seating for no more than two people. The Stable Flat is on a rough track and has views of a scruffy farm building in one direction and the stable yard in another. We met the owner but were not made to feel welcome. the potential of the farm as a location for holiday stays is great but there has been no attempt to make the Stable Flat inviting.

It was our second time away with our baby and we could not ask for a better setup!! The apartment was beautiful, overlooking the farm. It was so lovely to have the animals so close to us. The facilities were great. I really enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and waking up to see the horses in the stable, which were outside our bedroom window!

− I didn't like that we had to leave!!

Fabulous flat, so clean, really well equipped kitchen and super comfy beds with beautiful linen. We were part of a big wedding party staying in several accommodations on site, they were all beautiful and worked brilliantly for us all. Stunning location which we didn’t have time to fully explore so will need to return! Extra mention - huge thank you to the gorgeous helpful team, especially Cheryl, Danni 🤩
