Quiet Vermont Farmstead Stay
10.0Such a lovely farmstead! Quiet and perfect for me. Everything I needed was thoughtfully provided.
− I can't think of anything.
Stayed only overnight but it was comfortable and just what I needed
9.0The owner was a very available and kind, helpful person. His care and hospitality were wonderful
Bad value; left a day early
4.0Blueberry muffins left daily for us in the kitchen were great. Lovely local flowers and plants decorated the room. Bed was quite comfortable. Owner gave us our space.
− Tiny converted shed room was mosquito infested. There was not enough hot water to have a bath & the water smelled rank / sulfuric. Not a proper shower; it was a tap with a drain on the floor with no barrier so water drenched the bathroom. Could hear the voices of the other guests clearly because the walls were so thin. No closet to hang clothes. Too small for more than 1 person.
A great stay at his place.
10.0We were very pleased. Peter always had something for us in the morning. He was a very good host and very friendly. It was a great stay. Enjoyed talking with him as he would always ask how we were doing.
Over all it was a great stay. For the amount of time we were actually there we would not choose it again for the price w
10.0It was out in the country & secluded. Nice farm scenery on the way in & out from either direction. We had our own little porch with 2 chairs. Which made it cozy. Peter sent text messages and gave very good directions as to which place it was as it’s a shared driveway. Then greeted us when we arrived. Bed was very comfortable.
− There was no comfortable chair to just sit and relax when you came in at night just a small bench. My biggest complaint is the door opens right into the bedroom and has a full glass panel and all there was to cover it was a sheer curtain. Under the circumstance I felt there should be a heavier curtain or better yet a shade to pull down.
Very good
