A place on the outskirts of kozhikode
5.0The flat is sea facing which is the best part of this place.
− This place is considered out of the city limits. That's why it is impossible to book an uber from city to this place. We had to request our cab driver to drop us here by paying extra. Also the flat was untidy when we checked in. This is very unusual for kerala where normally the houses are maintained absolutely neat and clean. The hosts very conveniently chose to ignore my message regarding a request for late checkout as our return flight was in the evening. Only on the day of checkout I received a message at 10 am that we have to vacate the house by 12 pm. I can understand that there can be a booking for the next day. But at least they could have offered to keep our luggage somewhere. Also the check in was anything but smooth. Although the booking clearly mentioned two adults and two children with their respective ages, but still the security guard was informed that only two people are coming. That too when we had shared IDs of all four family members. It was very humiliating experience.

9.0The apartment itself was excellent: Spacious 3-bedroom setup – perfect for families Clean with towels and toiletries provided for everyone Well-equipped kitchen with basic pots, pans, tea, and coffee Free Wi-Fi (a bit glitchy initially, but fixed promptly) Access to Amazon Prime and Disney+ Hotstar on TV The highlight was definitely the top-floor location with a scenic beach view—peaceful and relaxing. What stood out most was the freedom and comfort you get here compared to a hotel. It felt more like a home than a stay, which made a big difference when travelling with family. Overall: A great option if you’re looking for a budget-friendly, spacious stay with good amenities and a scenic location, without the restrictions of a typical hotel.
− Except for the cloth drying rack there was nothing in there to complain about.
