A peaceful holiday cottage in a spectacular setting
10.0An absolutely charming barn conversion in a beautiful location – the lake is right on the doorstep and you can look out over it while you sit up in bed. The property has been in the host's family for almost a century, and she has left thoughtful touches of local history around the place if you're interested. More practically, there was a bottle of fresh milk on arrival, and basic kitchen supplies too, which were very welcome. A great place in an even better location.

10.0We loved the tranquility and rustic nature of the location and building. We especially loved the family story and the history of the place. The scenery is stunning. The accommodation itself is very us, with its eclectic mix of furniture and decoration, and the cozy feel. Maggie is a wonderful, thoughtful host. We have already booked again for a longer stay in September. Thank you Maggie. ❤️🏴
