8.0We love staying here, this is our 2nd time. The location is great for going into the Lakes or the Dales which we did both.
− Could use more cups and glasses, we just brought out own prosecco glasses thus time 😂
Enjoyable stay, great house with plenty of room for everyone and a big table for board games
10.0Downstairs and upstairs bedrooms to accommodate everyone in the party, downstairs toilet
− The upstairs shower wouldn’t work so all had to use downstairs but it wasn’t anything major

8.0The quiet location, the comfortable beds. Having xmas decorations up made it extra festive.
− Found 2 tablet packets under the games unit luckily they were empty as we had young children with us. We also had to wash every pan, baking trays and glass before we could use them as they all had traces of food residue on them.
Ideal short break at Weatheral Cottages
10.0It is in a lovely quiet hamlet but we didn't have to go into Penrith every night as the Highland Drover pub and restaurant (with beer garden) is only about 100 yds away. Guests should advised to book.

Nice but room for improvement.
6.0The village setting and proximity to the pub. The garden area is lovely to sit in the sunshine. The king size beds upstairs were great too.. Hosts did reply when communicated with them.
− No terrestrial TV as aerial didn't reach, cooker very slow, flies an issue, lumpy double bed on ground floor, broken shower downstairs, broken log burner, not the cleanest overall, noisy shower upstairs and overflow pipe outside by front door constantly running doesn't give a great impression. Ensure there is enough crockery for all guests as there was not for us.
